Esther Boesche is a multidisciplinary artist and arts educator from Northern Germany living and working in New York City since 2013.

Her work is shown internationally and has been included in exhibitions in American museums, galleries and art spaces. It is published in the highly regarded Musee Magazine, and written about by well-respected photography blogs, including Lensscratch, Mother Muse Collective and many other publications. The main focus of her artistic practice is sociological and political oriented. Her works are about systems, discrimination, racism, role assignment, pornography, and exchangeability.

Esther Boesche has studied Design and Photography at the Muthesius School of Arts in Germany and received an MFA in advanced photographic studies  from the International Center of Photography in New York in 2015.

She was awarded with the DAAD Artist Grand for the year 2013 and the ICP Director`s Scholarship from 2013 to 2015.
